Check Out This Expanded Website

We have expanded this website to include four new features: posted messages (what you’re reading now), archived recordings, playlists, and “Our Video Messages”, a page of messages in video form, from us to you during our forced hiatus from live performances. Each of them appears under “Patron Resources” in our top-level website menu.

Did you know the Mid-Columbia Symphony recorded its performances for decades, going back to the 1960’s? We are digitizing these recordings to make them available to our patrons while we are unable to perform live. Three of them are on our new “archived recordings” page. These three recordings feature young artists who played with us early in their careers.

We also added a page of playlists, where we or you can post lists of our favorite orchestral music. Our first one features mainly “light classical” music. How about you? Use the form on our Playlists page to enter your own list. Let’s compare favorites!

Finally, on our new “Our Video Messages” page you will find video messages from our conductor, Nicholas Wallin, and members of the Mid-Columbia Symphony. Although we cannot perform for you live, we can bring you an understanding of our music and our musicians through personal video messages. Our first three messages are waiting for you to enjoy.
